This policy explains how Cliniq Media ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data collected through this website, cliniqmedia.co.uk. We are the data controller for that information, and you can reach us about any data matter at contact@cliniqmedia.co.uk.
What we collect
We only collect what we need:
- Information you give us — when you book an audit, request a guide, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us: your name, email address, and (optionally) your clinic name and any details you include in a message.
- Information collected automatically — when you browse the site: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring source. This is gathered through analytics and advertising cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
How we use it, and our legal basis
- To respond to enquiries and deliver requested guides — legal basis: taking steps at your request / our legitimate interest in responding to you.
- To send you marketing emails (tips and updates) — legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
- To measure and improve the website and our advertising — legal basis: your consent to non-essential cookies, and our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted third-party providers who process data on our behalf:
- Formspree — processes form and enquiry submissions.
- Calendly — manages audit and consultation bookings.
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK/EEA (including the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent frameworks.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client data for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal or accounting obligations, and marketing-list data until you unsubscribe. We review and delete data that is no longer needed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email contact@cliniqmedia.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
